Features of a Basic Calculator with Large Display: Large Display: Easy-to-read, often with a multi-line feature to show calculations step-by-step. 12-Digit Capacity: Can handle larger numbers without truncation. Basic Functions: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and possibly square roots and percentages. Clear Button: For resetting the current entry or all calculations. Memory Functions: To store and recall values for sequential calculations. Error Indicator: Alerts you if an error occurs (like dividing by zero).
Using the Calculator: Power On: Press the power button. Enter Numbers and Operations: Input your first number, then choose the operation. Step-by-Step Calculations: As you input each step, the large display will show your calculations clearly, making it easier to follow. Calculate: Press = to see the result after entering the second number. Clear and Repeat: Use the clear button if you want to start a new calculation.
Example of a Multi-Step Calculation: To calculate ( 112 + 88 ) ÷ 2 (112+88)÷2: Input 1, 1, 2 (for 112). Press +. Input 8, 8. Press =. Now, the display shows 200. Press ÷ (division). Input 2.
